some idiots keep bidding on the auction putting up the price. you can buy a brand new 2012 one for about $30 more than the current top bid....

nah I bet its just silly people going to trademe (our ebay, NZs biggest site) and searching for one to buy instead of googling brand new ones.

just go buy a 2013 model and flag the 2011 Smile
only because then you can make sure mine is going to work haha

I dont need a 2013 model Smile Only after a 2011 so I can test on it.

If it goes too high I'll stop bidding though, and just wait until another 2011 becomes available.

Its mostly for 2011 TVs, replacing a TV just to get a faster CPU is expensive, replacing a BR I think is perfectly acceptable. So I would like to get it to work so anyone with a 2011 TV can run it, will be slower than the 2013 model of course.
