He didn't say it didn't show he said it didn't work after the patch

Quote:BUT... it seems to have introduced a new problem - not major - the 'exit' button no longer exits - have to exit with X to close the window. (sorry about that).

Right you are. Sorry - misread.

This patch should fix it.

You made a change for fred250 to have exit not exit/disconnect on the web client I am hoping that is not permanent as is.

The change was kept, not just a temporary build, so yeah permanent. You can disable the behaviour by setting <FakeExit>false</FakeExit> in the <General> section of config.xml though.

Ok that sucks but I have understood that you decided fred250's unreleased web client trumped mine for XBMC

It wasn't a case of deciding anything trumped anything else. It was just a change I made that I thought you'd also be happy with at the time. As I said, I've made it configurable so you can easily turn it off.

If you want, I can have the next release look at the user agent to decide the preferred default behaviour for each type of client. Would this suit?

It does indeed.
Many thanks for the prompt fix.

Hi sub was this ever implemented; be nice to choose based on client?
