Not too much in NextPVR or Kodi since Dec, but there have been a lot of imx6 patches that could have caused this.

darn - can you suggest anywhere else I might be able to post to try and resolve this?
on the same box I can mount the video directory and play them directly through KODI (not using the addon) but you loose some functionality that way. So I know that the codecs are ok

The stream is definitely going to the ffmpeg mpegts demux so sub may need to change the mime type on these files he doesn't support even to the NextPVR clients. If using x-newa 100% doesn't appeal to you, pkscout has a skin that lets you replace sub's recording interface with x-newa's.

I saw a version of the skin for Helix - i didn't see one for Isengard yet? The skin sounds interesting as I really don't want to use x-newa. Its taken years to get the WAF up to a high level, changing things now might lead to divorce!

Same problem when playing the recordings in X-NEWA through KODI on those boxes

I am a bit confused. I do already have a share created for my media, but I don't see anywhere in the X-NEWA to add that share name

If it is a shared drive letter you need to do some mapping with advancedsettings.xml. Martin

Super annoying not being able to convert to MP4 as HD MPEG-ts files are about 5GB an hour. Is there any way MP4 files can be accommodated by Sub's addon, or is that a non runner? Thanks, Shane |
