no, you have to unzip it and copy it over the existing file in c:\program files\npvr (or c:\program files (x86)\npvr if you're running 64-bit windows)

Excellent, that's got the guide working in the NextPVR web interface and the Emby guide also, plus TV now plays in Emby as well, thanks very much.

Also noticed the Hauppauge software would start up and play TV by itself. Now it appears that NextPVR will also start to play TV if the app is left open. Not sure if its related or something entirely different. I presume NPVR isn't supposed to do that for some reason ?
