Here is another one for you to try.

If you change your text size while testing the patch though - make sure you reboot though, so that the DPI change is fully active.

I've not changed my text size, just left it on the 200%, is that okay for the testing or should I be jumping back and forth?

I just swap the exe and it's all still on zoomed in cutting half the junk out :/

That said doing so this one looks the same too.

I take it you have all the current windows updates installed too, just to eliminate maybe one of them causing?
Jump between full screen, windows, dragging window to different sizes etc.

I was doing something along that lines when it occurred out of the blue and was stuck Sad
Kinda hoping it happens to you (lol sorry) so you can figure out what is wonky.

You're definitely talking about the same thing right? or are you describing your window being too big, and off the screen in places - in which case you can drag it from the corners to make it smaller and reposition it etc.

With your NextPVR window full visible on your desktop (including window frame), can you post a screenshot of desktop?

(yes, I've my Windows install is fully updated)

Mine does just like the original OP screen cap.

Regardless of window mode or actual full screen it's like zoomed in on far top left corner only and clicks don't register what you're actually clicking on. Almost as if the mouse moves based on true location but screen is supper zoomed in. Doing window mode and dragging screen larger just makes it larger, doesn't expose the missing stuff.

That last patch I posted puts it back to how it was prior to 3.9.2. Was it working correctly for you in earlier releases?

Yup, last month + no issues and not doing anything different/new. I'd not even touched my scaling on windows, it's been set for some time.

I played with the last patch some more and still indeed issue. I put scale pack to 100, bounced box, looks fine, put to 125, bounced and it's zoomed up.

Does some config file or something different happen with the scaling?

One observation I have with Kodi is if I change the scale and don't sign out and back in Kodi does the same thing but upon signing out and in it's normal regardless of the scaling. So it's like NPVR is handling something different or maybe windows changed something?

Maybe try running yours at 125 for a bit and jump randomly between full screen and window mode and dragging the window to different sizes etc. and maybe after a day or so you get lucky/cursed like me? lol

Odd, I'm not really sure what to suggest.

I'm not able to reproduce it here in my Win10 machine. It's working fine for me.

That's because it fears you. It knows who it's master really is Smile

If I get some time I might try reinstalling and playing etc. I guess.
I know I can export my recordings but off the top what file(s) will let me do the channel/device mappings? The auto map didn't work well for me with guide data so I spent a lot of time going in 1 by 1 mapping channels and hate to do again lol.

Figure I'll try a uninstall/reinstall of the latest one, if it still happens uninstall and try the prior release. If it still happens at that point I might just go cry lol.

NextPVR stores everything in npvr.db3 and config.xml. Copy those before an uninstall, delete Uses\Public\NPVR, reinstall ... but I bet you a shilling that it ain't anything in NextPVR that is causing the symptoms. I can't reproduce the problem here.

I have the same issue, but I'm running a clean install of Win7 Ultra. I have it on two different PC's, both Win7. One is using a Radeon 6450 (1080) and the other is using Intel's latest graphics (4K).

At 100% text size, everything looks good, except that text is too small. At 200%, I see the upper-left 1/4 of the menu, regardless of any resolution. I can shift the image via the offset option on the General menu screen. Currently running at 100%.

I am confident that the 3.9.2 update has caused this issue, as it happened on both systems immediately after it's install. I cannot find any other Windows update that could be related. The machines are exclusively used for NPVR.

Can you try those two patches to let me know if either helps? The send one should have put it back to exactly as it was before these 3.9.x builds.
