Recording service not updating correctly

Its a dll file. What directory does it go. Does it replade an existing .dll?

Replace the existing DLL at C:\Program Files(x86)\NPVR (or thereabouts). You might want to rename the existing DLL file so that you can revert if necessary (which it never is).

I have replaced NUtility.dll in Npvr program files. It seems to be same version and size.
