On the TV I cleared the data on the app, and now it works!

That would not impact uidroid though.

I did have the old zip (so much for keeping everything) so hopefully the V6 is installing now.
The problem with the app was presumably cause by trying to connect to V4 but remembering, clearing its data solved that once NPVR was updated.

I fixed a bug in uidroid that probably would have addressed that but I just didn't get around to releasing it yet.

It's the name and address of the machine that is running NPVR. That said, once I had everything up to date, it found it automatically.

For manual entry it is whatever URL your server understands.  On the Local LAN it should automatically configure it if firewall and or Docker permissions are set up properly.
