Yes the suggestion to copy npvr.db3 won't work if the tuning batch files aren't available where the were before

Ok I copied the files from the old installation (\Users\Public\NPVR\Scripts) to the new (\Users\Public\NPVR-Data\scripts) , restarted the NPVR service and the IR still won't blast or change channels.

That isn't going to help the location of you batch information stored in the database. You may need to delete all the channels and rescan noting where haupblast is stored. I expect you manually made these for v4 and forgot the details.

On the settings->devices->HDPVR page, you should be able to see where it’s expecting your blaster to be. You can copy them to that same directory.

Which I did and still nothing. No IR blasting.

Even updating to reflect the IR blaster path didn't make any changes, whether it's from the original location or the new installation location (if you are referring to the haupblast.exe application.)

If you want to post the logs, I'll tell you why.

Ok. Where are the logs located?

On the Settings->About page, click the 'Log Files' button. It'll zip them and download to your location of choice. You can then attach them.

There you go.

Is that path correct? I've added logging for the next build so that I can tell from the logs if it exists or not (which is currently not logged in the build you're using).

Also, if you run the Hauppauge BlastCfg app, is it configured for the correct set top box, and able to send numbers? The HaupBlast.exe utility just tells BlastCfg to send number x, and BlastCfg takes care of the details of blasting, and the type of set top box signal etc.
