What happened when you tried that? Send the logs again, I might have given you the wrong syntax. and make sure you click the gear to show the None.

I'm pretty sure this will be related to changes with the way we use the mediainfo library.

I don't usually use subtitles myself, so wouldn't have noticed any differences on that front.

I thought it was weird he didn't get the channel.info API showing anything other than None and it wasn't logged like it is here is why I want to see the see that test.

Guys,

I see the same if I play a channel which should have subtitles in the native web interface (e.g. BBC News). I'm using Edge browser.
I see "None" as the only selectable option and my logs don't indicate any attempt to get any stream info when I select the cog from the playback page.

Sure here is a small sample just recorded, it definately contains dvb subtitles , it is from bbc1 uk.

The max attachment size isn't very big. You'd need to put it somewhere like onedrive/googledrive, and just let me know the download link.

Sorry but can you supply a longer recording? It's difficult to test against a short recording. A duration of 10+ minutes would be ideal.
