nova-t 2002 gbpvr goes through the motions but doesnt record

The recording went well but it freezes when trying to play it back (pic freezes sound ok) I tried to play the file with windows media player the pic froze in the same place.

I tried nero showtime and it played no problem. is this a direct show problem ?? I have even rolled back quartz.dll but this made no improvement.

I am going to update my vid drivers but not confident this has any bearing on the problem.

Any suggestions much appreciated as I think I am making significant headway.

Yes, its probably a directshow problem, but I know what exactly. I'd either guess its still the mux filter causing problems, or possibly your MPEG2 decoder.
