Ok, it was on the screen this morning. Think my wife was playing some vids for the kids, but that was before the message. Quit the interface and found the file. File should be attached.

Can you post the GBPVR.exe.log that goes with the other log?

Sure, its attached. Had to zip it since its too large as plain text. Looks like this is the interesting section:

hmm, sorry but I still dont seem to have a pair of logs that match up.

Can you reproduce the error, then post both the gbpvr.exe.log and gbpvr.exe-native.log?

Do you mean file names or contents? I had to post the second log as the different file name since it has cycled since then, but they should match on start times. Not sure why end times are not carried out.

They seem to cover different time periods. Just repeat the problem, then immediately post both the log files.

Sure thing. It seems to appear in the mornings, so I'll post when I see it tomorrow. I don't know of any way to make it happen now that the behavior has changed. Thanks for the quick replies, by the way!

Looks like I didn't have to wait that long. Exiting a playback screen and the error was hovering over the main interface. Didn't touch anything and grabbed the files from the share I created of the main directory. Should be attached. I'm not sure if this is the same condition as the previous errors, of course.

At a guess, I'd say the problem is caused by one of the two components on your machine which I've highlighted below.

19:47:08.750 VERBOSE Graph contains the following filters:
19:47:08.750 VERBOSE - Default DirectSound Device
19:47:08.750 VERBOSE - Video Renderer
19:47:08.750 VERBOSE - Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder
19:47:08.750 VERBOSE - Morgan Stream Switcher
19:47:08.750 VERBOSE - MPEG Audio Decoder
19:47:08.750 VERBOSE - Elecard MPEG2 Demultiplexer
19:47:08.750 VERBOSE - C:\TV\Fear Factor\Fear Factor_20050902_22002300.mpg

Hmmm.. Ok, I think these were added when I put the allinone codec pack on the system. I've removed it and haven't seen the message again. Why would these cause a problem? Do they conflict with codecs that GBPVR has?
