comskip is required. comskip does the detection. It will appear if the comskip generated file is there.

Jorm-

Did you have a chance to add the hook into xrecord for rectracker to prevent shows that were deleted due to space reasons (but not watched) from entering into the rectracker d-base?

Yes, Rectracker has command lines for this already. rectracker -remove oid (I think)

We just need maxrecordings to call this before it deletes.

I know I'm your super best friend because I find all the obscure combos that generate errors in ways that 1000 users with 10,000hrs of use would never find. So, to make sure I maintain that friendship... Wink

I was deleting out of Watched (I need to find errors where no one goes), and got an out of index error. It seems to happen when you try to delete the generic program listing. These are the ones w/o an episode number in the DB from the guide (eg, an unidintified episode of Friends that has the description "A group of firends living together, etc"), and start w/ SH.

Yes, but I'll have to just do it again to make the error (I did some restarts since). I'll do it when I get back home (I'm in Vegas for business....yes, seriously Wink )

Biz trips rarely are, but if you have to have them, I'm always glad when the client has really good taste in the locations.

Anyway, here's the error. It kind of locks up GB after, too:

Jorm,

Not sure if this should be posted in the wishlist or here so sorry if it's in the wrong place. What is the possibility of having a function that selects/sorts by category of shows in xguide or xsearch? My TV has GuidePlus and it gives the ability to sort the listings by Movies/Sports/Children then under those categories sub categories:

Movies Sports Children
======== ========== ==========
All Baseball Adventure
Action Basketball Animated
Animated Bowling Educational
Comedy Boxing Game Show
Documentary Football Holiday
Drama Golf Movies
Fantasy Hockey Musical
Horror Outdoor Religion
Musical Racing Science
Mystery Skating Sports
Romance Skiing Talk
Science Fiction Soccer Travel
War Tennis Other
Western Wrestling
Other Other

I'm not sure why they named the last category Children. Does the info tags exist in the EPG to do this?

Xsearch should already have this. I havent thought about the logic way to do that with xguide. If you have the zap database hit y a couple of times. It will show all of the generes.
