To show what I'm seeing, I've enclosed a screenshot. It does show the proper channel as well as the proper listing.

You've plugged the ariel into the correct socket, ie not the FM antenna socket? Sorry, had to ask...

lol, yes, and that was the second thing I've done. In fact, I reversed them anyway to see what would happen and it looks the same.
I've tried 3 different sets of drivers and it doesn't work in WinTV, GBPVR and Sage. It was working just before I got a new motherboard for my NIC problem but not working by recording 2 programs at once. But, I was able to watch live tv. I watched the tech put the card back in and he took care with it but I wonder if the card is good now. I guess if it wasn't the autodetect would show it.

If its not even working with WinTV, thats a pretty ominous sign.

Have you got another machine you can try it in?

I started from scratch again and when I took the card out, I noticed that the input for the tv was just a little bit 'taller' than the 1 for the FM antennae. So, I fixed the cable so the copper pin that fits into the input was sticking out much more than it was. That was all I needed. Obviously, the cable pin was not sticking out as far as was needed to make a clean contact.
Sorry for all the trouble. Now I am able to record 2 programs at once. Yippee!
Thanks to all who tried to help.

Wow. Who would ever have guessed.
Of all the complicated things that can go wrong, usually with software, I don't think I would ever have guessed it was a 1/4" of faulty cable...
You can never have enough tuners!
