Did you run regsvr32 on the lame.ax file I provided the download link for? I looks like you didnt.

I dont know why its not finding the Elecard filter. Maybe it's Video Decoder filter is currently disabled in the Elecard Filter manager? Alternatively its called "Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder" on your machine. You could check by looking in the GraphEdit, or the DirectShow Filter Manager from http://www.softella.com.

Those filters werent absolutely required, but were recommended as ones I know work. There are other filters that also work, and you seen to have a working combination of other filters.

I guess I must have some other combination of filters that were loaded with the k-lite mega codec pack that work because I never actually loaded the lame codec from the link you provided, but it's working fine now. Also I'm not familiar with how to register the lame.ax codec as you mentioned? Any links you can provide that will bring me up to speed on how to do that would be appreciated. Smile I'll take a look at the Xvid settings in the GBPVR config and adjust the file size to fit my need. Thanks again for all your help.

To register the lame encoder, just do the following:

regsvr32 c:\path\to\lame.ax

You have only to enter "regsvr32 lame.ax" in the command prompt, that's the magic .^^;

I have something to say... you say you're using the k-lite mega codec pack. I don't know this pack, but i know that these CoDec-Collections are well known to make big trouble.

Best way to find out, which CoDecs you need is to uninstall this Pack and install only CoDecs, that you REALLY need. Tools like GSpot helps you to identify the needed CoDecs.

Shining dragon,

Your'e correct in saying that a lot of the bundled codec packs can and do cause problems , but I have yet to have problems with this particular bundle because I only select the codecs I need when I install the pack and it's nice to have access to the most popular codecs in one package instead of going out there and searching for various ones later when the need arises. Also Gspot is a util included with the k-Lite mega codec pack. Smile

GBPVRConvert.exe is no longer used for AVI conversion. It now uses ffmpeg. The bitrate is specified in the conversion profiles in config.xml.
