Is there any way that I can verify that this file is food?

The first thing I'd be doing is opening the file in TSReader. I think they have a free version on their website.

I'm guessing the file is good. If there is no signal you tend to get no data and the file wouldnt grow.

Sorry, I only got a chance to have a quick look. TSReader only seemed to be showing the now/next events for each channel though. Does it normally carry a full EPG?

Well one of the transponders shows the full 7 day epg for 110 and 119 -- I could not find it right away however so I have you that one as I knew it had some epg (now - next). I will find the transponder that carries the full 7 day epg and post a similar file. Does it look like we will be able to parse the epg data if it comes down the same way?
