Set a download of Mock The Week going before I went to work this morning - checked it at lunchtime and hey presto - it's all there ready to be enjoyed before watching Man Utd get knocked out of the Carling Cup (hopefully ).

Newbie question this. Downloaded/installed everything as per the wiki, get-iplayer appears on the pvrX2 menu, gives a menu if you click it, but nothing works. just throws me back to the main menu. Obviously something basic messing, but what?

It looks like you have not configured the plugin yet for use.

If you go in to the GBPVR configuration utility and select the GetIplayer+ Plugin you will be able to configure the paths to the tools that the plugin needs.

If you are still having issues let me know.

I have just upgraded the iplayer plugin, previous version worked fine but with the latest I get the "Bandwidth throttlew back from ISP (or BBC website fault) message.

Is this what it says and I need to wait till non peak times or is there another issue.

I have attached a log which may help.

It looks like most of you settings have not been configured in the config application, it might be worth checking the plugin settings for the GetIplayer+ plugin.

If your still having problems let me know.

OK tried a few thing before your reply, and noticed I missed the common utilities download, but installing these prevented the plugin from being selected from the menu, so put the oringal version I had back and that resolved that issue.

Regarding the config, being lazy seeing the lcatations were c:\temp just though they were temp file locations so didnt look into further, now I have pointed the the relevant applications all seems OK.

Regaring the commun utilities the version I am running seems to be 3.0.2847.27302 which seems to be the version in the link so not sure what's going on there but it's working now thanks.

OK, new problem not sure if it's always existed or not but highlights and favorites work fine and I can download OK, but if I try and search the message about searching and length of time depending on connection appears but the system just hangs on this screen.

Seems a bit strange, I have tested searching and it works fine here. I can't think of what might cause it, Try checking your firewall settings as a first guess. I wonder if it is actually the BBC Iplayer website taking some time to respond, I would try it at non peak times and see if it works.
