Hi,

I downloaded the plugin MusicLibrary2

I get the following error :

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

Any help on this.

Can you post the GBPVR.exe.log so I can figure out the problem, and tell me what you were doing when you go the error.

Have you also downloaded the database file and found commongbpvrutilities?

Finally what skin are you trying it with? BlueMCE2 and Blue are supported.

I can not get this set up in the config. It crashes every time. Any ideas about what is going wrong?

Can you check there is a "UltraID3Lib.dll" in you gbpvr directory (not the plugin directory)....messages seem to be saying that it is not there. It should have been included in the zip file you downloaded - either from wiki or this thread.

Sure is - version 0.9.5.3 is installed in C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr.

This seems to be saying it's not there, and wanting a different version to what you posted (wants older).

Ok, did you download the UltraID3 lib seperate from their web site?? I seem to have an older one in the zip file on the wiki, I wonder if there's an incompatibility.

I'd have to check it out.

Yes, I downloaded this version from their web site. I'll try again, but I tried the version that was included in your zip first and that had the same problem.

I tried again last night, and if it makes a difference, config doesn't crash until I try to search for music.

it would be nice if when you hit a button on the remoter it would pop up the lyrics tag from ID3. i would love that feature!

Interesting....I've never seen lyrics in an mp3 - do you know what tag they are stored in??

Out of curiousity, does this plug-in not allow the visualizations if you're using an MVP? I have it set for visualizations while playing and if I run the client on the PC, it works fine. But on the MVP, it only shows the album art no matter what I've set. Am I doing something wrong?
