For those that have always wondered why Americans have their own version of the english language, it originated with Noah Webster (like in Webster dictionary), who wanted to create and Americanized version of the language. He is the one who decided to eliminate the "u" from words like labour, honour, colour, etc. He also decided that the letter "z" would be pronounced as "zee" instead of "zed", etc. It also sounds like the username "zehd" is expressing something about that...being Canadian!

Thanks for noticing... My last name starts with a 'z' but whenever I join a forum somewhere 'zed' is taken... Quite a while ago, I thought I'd add the 'eh' part... Haven't had trouble creating that username...
