There is still no sign of a connection arriving at the server. I'm still guessing a firewall issue, or incorrect machine name.

That's weird... I can see the schedule, recorded shows, and even the FM channels I have set up from the client. The only setup of EPG and FM channels was on the server. So that part is working...

That stuff uses different ports, so doesnt rule out the firewall.

Used nMap to port scan that system... 7967 is open.

Could it be because I have my recording directory set to C:\Videos\ on the server, but for the client they see it as \\ghz\Videos? (I shared 'Videos')

Ok... which .log file on the server would show an attempt to view a recorded show?

Which .log file on the client would show the status of the attempts?

Also... could it be related to the fact that I have the CallerID plugin (using Yac) on my server? And that it replaces some of the skins?

Or perhaps because I have the CommonGBPVRUtilities on the server and not the client?

Could it be that I tried to watch a recorded show (fully recorded) while the server was recording another show?

If not, what else could it be?
