Another Standard that should be included in this update should be

Star-Trek TNG - 507 - Unification Part 1.avi

(5) Season Five (0) Single Digit (7) 7th Episode of the Season.

I chose this file name for 2 reasons.. 1st to show you that it uses a 0 up to episode 9 then it would be like 510 etc

Secondly imdb.com would list this file as Star-Trek TNG - 507 - Unification Part:1 and of course we can't include : in file names so your search program would have to be brilliant enough to find it anyways.

Thanks for the Great Work Jeff!!

I don't have the What's new feature with the new version. Has this been moved or removed?

No, it should be there. If you post your logs from the Jeff sub directory I can take a look.

my bad, the option was unchecked under the config. I think it may have been changed during the update install but I should have looked again

I found a mistake in the version I posted yesterday. To make startup faster I had moved some of the initialization code into a separate procedure that I planned to start in its own separate thread and I had forgotten to start the thread.

I've posted an update to the wiki site.

Maybe I'm doing somehting wrong here but everytime I try and runt he DVD to MPEG conversion the DVD Decrypter step kicks off and then when that is done nothing happens. I belive I have the correct paths set up on the config but I don't see anything else. What should I do to get this working?

Also, the link on the wiki for besweet 1.5 does not seem to work so I did a search and downloaded it from another source but this is what I found in the temp directory after dvddecrtpt finished:

Error 67: azid.dll wasn't found, or dll version is older than 1.9 (
Get it from http://DSPguru.doom9.org/
Quiting...
[00:00:00:000] Conversion Completed !

But that website does not come up. When I run the program with the parameters manually it seems to work ok.

Edit:
Nevermind, it seems that after running it manually it will kick off with no problems now within PVRX2.

I have another problem that may not be related to the plugin but thought I would ask here anyway since I'm using it. The conversion of the DVD's seems to go smoothly but when I watch the resultatnt mpg file it seems to skip ahead a few minutes at the begining of the movie and when I rewind it keeps juming ahead. I'm still in the testing phase so I have not watched a movie thru entirely but was wondering if this is a setting that I can change to prevent this from happening. When I view the .m2v file by itself it does not seem to jump around which makes me think it is during the remix that a problem occurs.

This is an error I see during that step, though I'm not sure if it has any relevance.

Hey Jeff,
I've been using VA for some time now, and upgraded to the new test version a month or two back (along with GBPVR 1.16). Since upgrading, I've noticed a painful lag when I first launch the application where there are no shows listed while it appears to be scanning my drives for new shows, even though I have this option set to off in the config. Then as I navigate to folders, the hour glass shows up again while it appears to be scanning the contents of the folder. What's it doing, and how can I make it stop? While it all seems to work, it's just painfully slow. Is there a setting I need to change or something I should check?

Thanks for all the great work!Smile

I can confirm that exact behaviour on my installation, including the rescans when moving through the list.
