I tried to uninstall the beta version and try out the released version since my system doesn't seem to work with the beta, but when I run the config utility it complains about a missing database file. Is there a way to regenerate the mdb file?
EDIT: Since I use sqlite for GB-PVR's database does that mean I have to use the beta or is that independent?

The mdb should still be there. It may have been renamed.

I did not have the release version installed before I tried using the beta and that didn't work as it got stuck in a please wait loop. I was hoping that the released version would work better, but it causes problems with the config app because of the missing mdb file. Is there a way to generate the mdb file so I can test it out?

The old version had a bug for new users (worked fine for upgraded users). I think you may just be able to copy the mdb file out of the jeff subdirectory into the main gbpvr directory. However if c:\ is still specified as your root recordings directory the old version will "hang" too as it scans your entire disk for video files.

No mdb file in the jeff subdir, just the logs. The only mdb files are the gbpvr ones in the gbpvr dir. There is nothing that I see from va. Is there a way to create an empty mdb with the right entries and scan for files to populate it? Right now the only one that will come up is the beta, and that hangs. I posted the logs from that, but nothing looked suspicious to me. Did you see anything to indicate why it was locked up?
