Woohoo! gotta try this out when I get home. I'm expecting mega issues 'cause I have a separate guide listing for each tuner, but would be happy if it takes the 'first available' tuner!

I am interested to hear how this works for you.....My guess is that it will schedule the prgroamme on the tunner that is currently associated with the channel that is requesting to be recorded.

Let me know how you make out.

Here we go - (below is a screenshot of my Capture Source (CS) config for the order of the CSs).
Here's an explanation of my setup:
150MCET1 = Dish Network, Tuner 1 svideo in, using IR Blaster
Emuzed MAUI IIIG = analog from roof mount antenna
TwinHan DTV = ATSC from roof mount antenna
Emuzed Composite In = has a "fake channel" for recording from VHS player.
150MCET2 = Dish Network, Tuner 2, composite in, using timers.

In the EPG, each CS has it's own tv listing, (for instance, Channel 4 (KDFW) has a listing of KDFWDT, KDFW, KDFW T1, KDFW T2). I select the appropriate listing and it will use the associated tuner. (DT for the TwinHan, T1, T2, nothing for analog)

All of these tests were done via RemoteSchedule on TitanTv.

Test 1. Scheduled a program on channel 4 (all tuners except TwinHan receive channel 4). The recording started on the Emuzed MAUI III. This test worked perfectly.

Test 2. Scheduled a program on channel 8 while the MAUI is still recording channel 4. This did not initiate a new recording, however, the RecordingServiceLog in GBPVR shows that it used 150MCET1 and sent the appropriate blaster command.

Test 3. Canceled all current recordings. Then Scheduled a recording on channel 135 (only exists on the T1 & T2 Capture Sources).

Here's where the sh*t hit the fan. The TitanTvRemoteSchedule program crashed, and refuses to restart. I restarted the computer and the service still won't start.

The second attachment is the error I get when I try to start it - it's the same error that's in the event viewer.

Any ideas on how to get it working again?!?

Here's the useful event viewer entry for when it crashed during test 3.

I just uninstalled the Service, removed the TitanTvRemoteSchedule files from within GBPVR, restarted the computer, re-installed TitanTvRemoteSchedule and it still times out when I try to start the service.

Is there a way on TitanTv to view "RemoteScheduled" items? I'm thinking it has that listing in there and it keeps messing up the TitanTvRemoteSchedule.

Is there anything in your TitanTv log in GBPVR\logs.....errors are dumped there......

Nothing bad. It had all of the entries for test 1 & 2, but not for Test 3 (when it crashed). The service just won't start now.

I'll put together a version that has some debug lines in it for the intialization of the service to see if we can determine why it is not starting.

In your logs....do you see these lines after you try to start it:

2007-07-09 22:22:18.429 INFO [1] TitanTv Remote Schedule Service now started.
