Update: I just managed to get EVR going on XP and all the problems I ever had with PVRX2 and VMR9 -fse are gone:
- Multiple instances - Wake up from standby - Exit/Kill PVRX2 after error And in addition the most fantastic colours!!! Nice work. Thanks

Same problem, multiple PV instances (triggered via Hauppage remote) ever since first PV release - GB always worked correctly for me previously.
This happens even 5+ seconds after the first instance has loaded, so I don't think it's a split-second double-trigger.
GBPVR System:
XP Pro SP2, AMD XP1800+, 512MB DDR, NVidia 6200 AGP (1.90.62 drivers), PVR-150 (2.0.43.24108 drivers), nVidia Purevideo Mpeg2 codec, PVRX2 1.4.7

Been having this problem sine the change to pvrx2 (using haup remote. No HIP)
Tried the test patch, hitting the button repeatedly. Got a load of message boxes saying, "Another instance running, but can't find its window handle". Lots of instances got loaded. Closed everything. Tried it again. Got a message box saying, "Acquired mutex, only instance running". Switched back to original .exe. No more multiple instances. ![]()

Well, as that's working for everyone else I'll have to try it later ![]()

Before you try it, can you see if you have a HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Devnz\ registry key? If so, does it have a ActiveHwnd setting in that key?

Mine is still working fine. Tried rebooting just in case. Only nagging problem is it doesn't come to the front.
The registry values I have are Default,LastChannel, MusicLibraryView,PvrActiveHwnd,RecordingsView So no ActiveHwnd as refered too in earlier message??

for those using HIP to bring back focus to pvrx2 when using FSE
you can add Alt tab to the second press of the start button under alternate input or add this secondary control @{TAB} (what alt tab is) seems to work for me |
