we are just going north past jafaland havent been up that way for a few years
went to oz last year twice Brisbane/Sydney
didnt work hard enough this year so have to do it on the cheap Smile

Oh OK, that is true. I will get one with a MCE remote, I was looking at the web interface at work today and the IR blaster to change channels will be very handy.

Oh OK, I don't really like Auckland, is too busy for my liking :p But I guess you are going past all that business. Cool, I havn't been for 13 years, so it should be good Big Grin

I am back Big Grin

What do you think of this MCE remote? http://www.ascent.co.nz/productspecifica...mID=343203

Being OEM I will need hardware, so I think the HVR3000 will be fine, but what about the HVR4000 with DVB-S2? worth it or not?

its the remote ive got, it works perfectly for what you want - although that one doesnt show the coloured buttons, you might want to look into that as they are used gbpvr quite a bit, especially in some plugins

DVB-S2 apparently wont be coming here for a long time, if ever, so theres not much point.

OK, great.

What are the coloured buttons used for?

Could I use my Hauppauge remote for the coloured buttons? (not the most ideal situation though)
