If the recording exists on disk, then I also suspect it is somehow relaated to addepisode.

I'll comment out addepisode for a few days to check.

I'm not running addepisode, comskip or any other postprocessing (only plugins are weather and Musiclibrary2). I'm pretty sure it started when I used the scripted EPG update (with deletependingrecurring) and then stopped as soon as I reverted to the normal scheduled EPG update in config. I might change back to the scripted update and see if it starts happening again and save log files. I did check them before but couldn't see any obvious errors.

Cheers
Tony

Just a guess: Maybe the problem is caused by running the commands (in the script) too quick after another. Maybe try a sleep command in between.

i already do sleep 5 between comskip and addepisode but I have added another before comskip anyway.

I'mnot very good at batchfiles.:o
I take it that addepisode runs when comskip has finished.
I have seen the wait command in batchfiles, to make sure that the first command finishes before the next starts.

you're right Hans but I am really not sure that my problem related to my postprocessing.bat - we will see what happens.

I had a poke around in the recording_schedule table and I noticed that I had 3 x Simpsons entries (T4: The Simpsons, The Simpsons and The Simpsons ® with dates of 0001-01-01. I deleted these reoccuring recordings via gbpvr and they went and then I set all 3 schedules up again.

The table now has lots of "Simpsons" shows listed but I spotted that one of them has a 2 entries with the same programme_oid and one row again has a date of 0001-01-01 etc. (status=4, recording type=5) This may well be perfectly normal (I don;t really know what I am doing here) but I was wondering if Sub or anyone who knows this table well could confirm if this is expected bahaviour.

cheers

Yes, two season recordings. If you have two with same name and status=4 recording type=5, then it sounds like you have two. Try deleting one then see if they go away in the database.
