It must try to load the files, the checkbox just removes it from the menu display. I am home from work now, so I'll give a "for real" test on my laptop in about an hour.

I don't actually see any ML2 errors. But for good measure while testing a new plugin, it's always a good idea to move some of your existing plugins to a plugins\bkp\pluginName directory, just until your new plugin is working.

I did see an sqllite error - but that is regarding having system.data.sqllite.dll in the plugins directory.

It would be a good idea to remove the ml2panel.dll and the sqllite.dll from the plugins\MusicLibrary2 directory.

I removed some plugins I have tested but not using anymore, like UbuStream and ML2 (Psycik, I where missing a ML2 uninstaller). In the cleaning process, I also removed those entries in config.xml too.

After that cleaning it works. It took about 30 sec before a channel started initially, but after that it went smoothly.

But that 30 sec made me wish for an improvement. A panel showing which channel I'm (about to) listening to.

A support for a foldered view would also be nice. To have the most used in the top level and then to be able to sort other channels in genres or countries (or both) would be very useful.

I'm sorry, I forgot to report my findings. I found that UbuRadio identifies itself as "Web Radio", and that is what shows up when chosen from the menu when both are installed. Once I removed UbuRadio and UbuStream (they are companion plugins), this web radio plugin showed up fine. I got icons and NZ channels to show up.

So maybe those two plugins (or one or the other) may not play nice.

Oh yes, I had UbuRadio as well...
Maybe a good idea to rename this new Web Radio plugin, Web Radio 2 maybe. Smile

Thanks Fatman_do for finding that. :-)

Hi

I took those Norwegian stations and made a RadioStations.xml for the WebRadio Plugin.
But I went to the websites and got the ASF streams at the highest quality.
You can get the file at.
http://startop.homeftp.net/mcs/_view_rad...country=no

I updated the Excel sheet with Radio Stations for new Zealand, Sweden and Norway. Uploaded it to the wiki.

Does this plugin work with the MVP or the NMT? Uburadio does a nice job with non-Shoutcast streams via VLC but I am looking for a plugin the streams from the raw Windows media instead of converting it to mp3 for playing on the NMT.

Sorry no. It uses the GB-PVR API for playing net radio streams. If you attrmpt to play windows media streams radio stations on the PC it uses Windows Media Player. There is no logic hooked up behind these APIs to do anything when running on an MVP/NMT client.

Thanks sub. Uburadio does work well on the MVP and NMT with mms streams so I thought there was a chance.
