thats cause the nvidia decoder works best with nvidia cards Smile

nah not really but it does seem that anyone that didnt like the picture wasnt using a nvidia card

Hmm... Come to think of it, I've always used it on Nvidia cards. I haven't tried it on my ATI 2400 Pro yet.

ok ill go with my other option
what works for one may not work for another
or another buy some glasses if the picture looks soft or not sharp

I downloaded the ffdshow and set it up to use in in the playback tab.

The video still jumps and I can't change channels. When I try to change channels, the program stalls, then either takes me back to the main menu or hangs. The only way I can watch anything is to access it through the guide. If I want to change channels, I have to exit out of Live TV, go to the guide, then access it through there.

If I access the guide while in Live TV and try it from there, that does not work.

Reproduce this problem then post the logs and I'll take a look.

Set the logging level back to 'debug' then reproduce the problem and repost the logs.

Those logs are still set to 'Error' not 'Debug'.
