I've just had another look through the details in this thread, but I can think of anything that would be causing this.

If one of you have VNC and graphedit on your machine, it'd be useful if I could connect for a few minutes to try a couple of things.

I'll set up a machine. How can I send you the address and password?

Thanks for letting me take a remote look cetoy.

Its very strange. There is no input pin on the "Cinergy S2 PCI Digital Capture" filter, so the app is unable to connect the tuner and capture filters. I've not seen this before, and I'm not sure what I can do about it. You might need to try emailing TerraTec about this.

You 're welcome.

OK, I'll send an email to TerraTec.

But other Software (DVBViewer, MediaPortal,...) can use this card. How do they do this?

update:

there's a new version of bda-drivers for this cinergy s2 pci hd available (1.1.0.601) now. with this gb-pvr on my testing machine (old tower running ms server 2003) is now able to do scan for channels and watch live-tv. but still there's something wrong Sad

* no dvb epg broadcast possible (it looks like it simply doesn't do anything when pressing epgupdate-button)
* no live-tv with media-mvp (it says "no tuner available at the moment...)

i put a fresh set of logs here >> sub, does this help anyhow?
