Hauppauge HD PVR on May 1

Anyone actually have their credit cards charged yet? That's the surest sign of shipping and my card isn't showing any activity.

Nope. My order number is 33731 so I just barely missed being in the fabled "first batch".

I'm 33806 so not far behind. What was the cutoff for the first batch? When is the next batch supposed to ship? There's some stuff coming up the Discovery Channel that I'd like to record.

For those with an online order # of 32700-33600 you’re first in line - your HD-PVR should ship by Mid-May 2008
For those with an online order # of 33601-34600 you’re second in line - your HD-PVR should ship by the end of May 2008
If you’re order number is after 34600, it will likely be after May 2008.

Lowest order number I've heard of is 33724

Me too, altho it'll take a while to get to Arizona...probably late next week, no ETA from UPS yet.

Can't wait to hear some impressions, especially any difference you can tell between the picture from the STB directly to the TV vs. through the HD-PVR and PC to the TV.
