heh heh,

Once i installed the K-lite decoder pack, this started happening. The voice got further away from the video. I knew this problem from reading the posts.
My decoder in GBPVR was set to System Default, and i never knew what it picked as default. I started going down the list and got to Cyberlink before the voice was consistent and the video was not choppy. So all good in the end anyway...

Now to my stupidity, I thought that .mpg would be smaller, but it's actually the same size as the dvr-ms, actually a bit bigger. I was thinking that it was going to be compressing on the fly.

I recall what Imagn was saying far earlier (i think), where if i record to .mpg i will be able to skip the step of the double conversion each night.

So now i'm dealing with the problem where the nightly convert to Divx still states it cannot find the Powerlink MUX. DVDcreator is installed. any tips on getting that to work appreicated, and i will also review this long thread and others... so... close....

All you need to do is install a cyberlink mux from one of my previous posts in this thread, with links in it that will explain what to do.

I will say that i never did get this to work well, the files were always out of sync and it just takes too long, so i just bought a 750gb Hdd and forgot about transcoding.
