Web admin access from smart phone

On this topic, has anyone thought of writing a stripped down mobile version of EWA? I find that the application is too big to use on a mobile phone. It there was another version just for mobile phones that would be awesome.

EWA is uses heavy server based processing (requires direct access to the GBPVR API as well as the SQLite database). The client itself is really actually light.....the problem has been in the browser capabilities for displaying the information.
