Sorry don't know, never needed them.

I've also never used the tuner side of my PVR150 so have no knowledge how to advise further.

But just to check you have DVB-C source coming into cable modem, then splitter, 1 x cable to TV 1 x to PC?

I'm sure someone far more knowledgable will take over!

I have analog and digital signal - I can tune 2-63 on TV - need a decoder box for the 100 and above.

Yes

Does anyone know if there are Hauppauge troubleshooting steps or logs available?

Thanks
What kind of TV? If it is digital TV and you have digital cable, that will work for unencrypted channels, but PVR-150 is analog only. Is your cable service digital or analog? If analog, you should probably focus on getting it working with WinTV. That will be a lot easier, because you don't have to set up epg stuff and map channels to watch live TV.

First, make sure that WinTV program is set to get the signal on the antenna in/RF connector (threaded f-type), and not the A/V (s-video or yellow composite and red and white RCA connectors). Then go to the FAQ tab of http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/su...html?tab=5 . If you can't get it to work with the drivers that came on its installation CD, try the latest drivers that come with WinTV Version 6 (the "Apps/Drivrs" tab of http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/su...html?tab=5 ). If you can't get it working with WinTV, the PVR-150 card is probably bad.

I have analog cable - I can plug cable directly to TV and tune 2-83.

I'm going with the card is bad. Overstock has a PVR150 for $39. I think I'll get one and try it out.

I'll post my results!

The PVR150 is a very simple and straight forward card and the drivers are very well tested, so eighter it works or not :p. I have one myself and never had any trouble with it, in fact it acts like a reference when testing other cards. In your case, I'm sorry to say, it definitly sounds like the card is FUBAR.

Excellent result. Hope you can get money back on old card Wink

It is quite boring having to go back to source and then working way through but it is often the simple things.......
