Wave - New skin for NPVR

I had my channel logos in "Media\Channels" and it just picked them up. I didn't have to do anything special.

That's not working for me. I'll have to try reinstalling Channel Logos.

Thanks for the wave skin, I think it looks great. There seem to be some problem with channel logos though. Not sure if its within the skin or in NPVR? Channels including a space in the name (e.g., Comedy Central) does not pick up the logo wereas a channel such as Eurosport works just fine.

I have a number of channels with spaces in them & it picks mine up & displays the logo fine, there have been reports of channels having a space on the end of them so the logo name also requires the space.

I have noticed that if my channel logos are black with a transparent background, they can't be seen. I'm trying to find good logos to use.

Still not working for me. Only 2 logos show up.
When I tried reinstalling the Channel Logo Tool, I get an Com Object error.
System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to class type 'mshtml.HTMLImgClass'. COM components that enter the CLR and do not support IProvideClassInfo or that do not have any interop assembly registered will be wrapped in the __ComObject type. Instances of this type cannot be cast to any other class; however they can be cast to interfaces as long as the underlying COM component supports QueryInterface calls for the IID of the interface.

After uninstalling and reinstalling, it now no longer works in GBPVR either. No worries and apologies for hijacking this thread.

What EPG source are you using?

For NPVR mc2xml.....for GBPVR, SD.
If I download a batch of logos and change the number/name to exactly match NPVR, those few seem to work but the channel logo app doesn't.

Jaggy, that is weird. I have attached a screenshot illstrating my channel linup and my logo problem.

SVT2: OK
TV3: OK
TV4: OK
Kanal 5: Not OK
TV6: OK
TV4 Plus: Not OK
TV8: OK
Kanal 9: Not OK

And the list continues with all channels with a space do not get the logo even though they have a corresponding picture in the media/channels folder.

It all works fine in PVRX2.

All I can say is from my past experience when a logo doesn't show the channel name is slightly different to the name of the logo.jpg

You can go into settings->Channels select one of the channels that isn't showing the logo & then select details & up the top in general you can check the name (& see if it has a space at the end or something else odd) or edit the name to something else & then match the logo to it (this works I have done it as a test for someone else)

For me, if the number and name don't match exactly it won't work at all. My spacing is off a bit though.
