Hi,

it is now the first time i see this option.
Until now i am using for it the newa webserver, just by emulating webbrowser client requests. I use it to create, cancel requests and of course to get all current existing records. But, unfortunately this webserver is really very buggy!! At least for example nearly each second cancel request lets the recording service crash.
I updated to the recent version few days ago, and i feel that the server crashes after it are even more frequent. :-((.

I will check the scheduler later, but let me ask here now:
Is this scheduler released in the current version and can i use it, to create and cancel records?

Thx in advance,

Yes it's included with the release. It can only be used the schedule recordings, not cancel them.

Is there a way to cancel recordings other than newa webserver or the ui?
I would even consider to go the way over the SchedulerHelper Api, but i have no idea, where, what and how? O:-)
Or may i ask you too, as you did before, to extend the functionality of the scheduler??

Yes, I add support for cancelling recordings. What info would you be passing in to identify the recording though? I'm guessing you don't know the recording_oid's?

hey,thx for your help!!

in deed,i do not know!

What i imaging is something like to get the id/oid for example, when i create the recording. This id should be used, to cancel the recordings. Of course, in this way it would be best when the scheduler also allows to list all current recordings with the
necessary ids!

Or otherwise, how could i get the oid?
I still not know, what exactly the scheduler can do, i will have a look now.

Thanks again in advance!!

When i use the browser, there is a cancel_id for a recording. is this the oid you mentioned?
By the way, to start a recording, what is the relevant channel id? Is this also the one i use for creating, via emulated browser client request? (those which are listed in the channel select items on the manualrecord page)

Hey Sub,

thank you so much for this new feature.

As i experienced until now, it works perfect. Reliably, no crashes, neither of the commands nor the service.
It provides exactly what i wanted.

Thx again,

Ijaja
