16:10 Screen Ratio Error

In case you're using Windows 7 as OS (do you?)
Are you REALLY sure that NextPVR is using the selected codecs? You can check this by running GraphEdit and render videofiles with it. Windows 7 prefers Windows Media Foundation codecs if you don't tweak Windows with tools like "Win7DSFilter" ( http://www.codecguide.com/windows7_prefe...weaker.htm ).

I am using Microsoft DTV Decoder for MPEG-2 an ffdshow video decoder for h.264 (the dxva version doesn't allow much things).

Thanks but that's more trouble than it is worth. I use VLC to watch my recordings instead.

I tried MONOGRAM GraphStudio since it runs without installing it but it does not open .ts files from NPVR though it says the format is supported.

On my 16:10 monitor the file HAS to be flagged as 16:9 AND I have to cycle the aspect ratio to AUTO even if it started playing in AUTO otherwise the picture is stretched full screen.

Since it came up again, I can confirm that I still get proper letterboxing when I setup NextPVR as 16:10 I measure this internal screen cut as 761x475 which is 1.602 ratio.

So the problem is only when its in window mode?

What aspect ratio mode are you using? auto?

Sorry sub I'm half asleep, lol. I meant no (post 28 corrected). I have no bars in either windowed or full screen modes.
