Tuner No Longer Available

I noticed a new R2 rollup that was released today so I uninstalled everything and reinstalled

I suspect you just downloaded the same R2 update as was released over a month ago which does not have the later patches sub wanted you to use. I reposted it yesterday or earlier today (I forget when) for people who'd installed the later Post-R2 Rollup update and encountered problems. I've now removed it and posted a new update called "Post-R2 Rollup 2" (why am I trying so hard not to just call it R3?!?!?) which does have the latest version of all files sub has posted.

I can tune the first channel and then nothing else - get Tuner No Longer Available

Couldn't you just call it the second drop of R2? If only there were some way to shorten that: 2D-R2, D2-R2,R2-2D. Well, I can't think of any interesting way to shorten it that would be easy to remember because it referred to a famous character in a series of movies, but I'm sure somebody else will.

Just installed the Post-R2 Rollup 2 and still am not having luck
First channel tuned, second and third would not
Eventually the 4th tuned after 2 minutes or so

I have had similar experiences as macrho if issuing a "Stop" from within XBMC

The Prime's tuner light takes 5 or so seconds to go off, and if I try to tune a different station the 2nd and 3rd lights do not come on. If I schedule a recording the second or third lights will come on, but it appears the 1st tuner HDHR 131121B-0 is the only one being polled for live TV

As a work around, I never issue a stop from XBMC while watching TV.

The back button will either bring up the "Channels" or "EPG Timeline" from which I can select a different station

Also, the OSD has an EPG option that can also be launched by pressing "c" which brings up a mini-guide in a side window. Changing stations with this method or the one above is completely stable for me

Stopping playback and attempting to tune a different station requires a "wait" time of unknown duration during which "Tuner not available" notifications are returned (as described by macrho)

Just tried this as I am having the same issue as macrho

Did help but seems to have another issue

Starts playing the new channel for maybe 2 seconds and than freezes but if I let it sit for another 30-45 seconds it will start playing

hdhomerun doesn't drop the tuner

2 things to me stick out
1 Why doesn't it just move over to one of the other unused tuners?
2 It appears that there is now issue with the buffer

Enable debug logging in XBMC, then reproduce the problem and post the xbmc.log, web.log and nrecord.log, and I'll take another look.

Your other logs zip files above do not appear to have xbmc.log that matches the other files. Are you sure you grabbed it from the right place?
