Can't install new version of service

I got the new service up and running however I am receiving this error when trying to fill in my user info

The error you posted is different to the one in the original post of this thread (though you're also obviously using a 64-bit version of windows). I still haven't got to the bottom of this so for the time being, use Notepad to edit the nDroidSettings.xml file then restart the nDroid Service. Hopefully that will get things working.

The only 64-bit system I've got to test this on is my wife's laptop and she's away until Sunday - I'll try to work out the issue then.

Is there any update on this as I'm receiving the same error as the original poster and have moved the files into the service folder and amended the config.xml file to no avail.

Running the service and NPVR on WHS 2011.

There is no need to move any files - you just need to manually edit nDroidSettings.xml with Notepad to set the username, password and port. The username and password must be the same as the npvr web server but make sure the port number is different and your firewall has that port and another +1 from that port open for listening.
