I can't get the app to work at all and when I see the logs, I suspect an install problem. Can anyone check please?

Logs attached.

Wim

EDIT: or is it a .NET problem? I am running W7 x64. Do I need to check what version of .NET I have installed (and if so, where?) ?

Looks like the service is having trouble resolving dependencies. Do you have it set to run as a user? If so, you may not have the proper permissions for that user.

I'm not sure what you mean. Maybe one of these things below gives you a clue?

After running the exe-file, but I haven't changed anything manually.
I have UAC disabled.
In services, it says "local system account" and under "dependencies" there are no entries.

I agree with whurlston - it looks like it's failing to find mscorlib.resources.dll. Which version(s) of .NET do you have installed?

That was my first bet too (see post #1). I have .NET framework64 v4.030319 . In that folder I can find mscorlib.dll and mscorlib.resources.dll
If I have to install another version, does that not lead to conflicts with the current install? And please add a download link.

I also have a folder framework (without "64") and in that folder the folders v1.0 through v4.0.30319 and within the latter the previous meant dll's. But in windows install I can only find the framework64.

Try installing the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable files from the link in this post...

Already did that, got the option to repair or uninstall. Chose repair and afterwards windows gives the following message "perhaps not installed correctly". Did it again but with right-click install as administrator.
Same problem.

To be honest I'm not really sure. This line...
Code:
26-10-2013 21:53:31.177 ResolveAssemblyEventHandler() called.
...in the nDroidService.log file (and others like it) indicate the nDroid service is unable to locate various .NET framework files but I don't know why. The ResolveAssemblyEventHandler is called as a last resort when files aren't automatically found and loaded and it would normally never be called to find core .NET files. I'm not sure what to suggest.

Couldn't it have to do anything with me running W7 in 64 bit?
