I find that the only one that records for me is the Microsoft DVR-MS. MuxChecker says that I have the CyberLink MPEG Muxer, but if I select CyberLink the GBPVRRecordingService.exe uses 50% CPU on a 2 CPU system and it only generates a MPG file of only 100k.

The only problem with the Microsoft DVR-MS is that if I try to watch something from the start that is still being recorded, the sound and video slowly goes out of sync both in GB-PVR and Windows Media Player.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

Set it to use the Cyberlink mux, then try a recording, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Everything looks good there to me. What happens? Do you actually get a .mpg file with the Cyberlink mux?

Can you post the output of MuxChecker?

Thats me for today...I'll respond tomorrow.

It generates a MPG file but it doesn't get much bigger than 100k.
GBPVRRecordingService.exe uses 50% CPU on a 2 CPU system.
I've attached the generated file.

MuxChecker output is:

GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared Files\PDMpgMux.ax
VERSION: 4.0.1313

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: C:\WINDOWS\system32\MpgMux.ax
VERSION: 5.0.0727

I'd try running the following to get rid of that old mux:

regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared Files\PDMpgMux.ax"

If there is mulitple Cyberlink muxes, then it'll use the first one shown on the list in MuxChecker.

There is also newer Cyberlink muxes that people are using (5.0.0813 and 5.0.1307), but worth checking it with 5.0.0727 that you've already got.

I have installed the nVidia Pure Video, WinDVD Creator, and PowerDVD 6, but when I run MuxChecker, it still tells me that no Multiplexer filters were found on my system, and that GB-PVR would not run correctly. Anytime I try to record a show, the ActiveMovie window pops up and the resultant recording is a zero length file. Live TV audio and video work fine (overlay mode only). By the way, this is with the latest version of GB-PVR 97.13. I have attached my log files. Any help would be appreciated.

The post immediately above yours has a download link for the Cyberlink mux.
