I'll add a me too for the decoder message. I thought the keys were either for a fully paid up licensed version, or a time limited trial that runs at full speed?

I downloaded SA and was going to try the free mode. I downloaded the EvilMPASource.dll and MPEGDecoder.dll and put them in C:\Program Files\Dragon Global\ShowAnalyzer

I get the error that
"Show analyzer is not registered and an appropriate filter cannot be found. You will need to register or install appropriate decoders."

I am under the impression that the free version does not require registration. So it is complaining about the decoders. So I am missing something....

You are correct. There is no key required for the free mode. If the decoders are there it should work. (Obviously it is not though)

You seem to have everything in place. Take a look in your registry under HKLM\Software\Dragon Global\ShowAnalyzer. There should be a "DLL" value. Does it point to the correct directory?

I'll take a look at it tonight and probably post an update.

Just downloaded and wanted to give it a go. Did as the post here says and copied the decoders required for the free version and copied to the ShowAnalyzer folder.
When run, SA give this error:
"ShowAnalyzer is not registered and an appropriate decoder cannot be found. You need to register or install the appropriate decoders. Please refer..."
What did I do wrong?

Nothing. There's a bug it seems, and Jere is working on it.

You are were I am at. There is probably a bug in the way SA handles/finds the free decoders. Jere is going to take a look at it.

Thanks for the quick response. When I first connected 30 minutes a go I only got the first few posts in the thread. When I uploaded my post the screen refreshed and I've now seen everyone elses posts. Must have been a glitch somewhere, the wonders of modern technology eh!

I just wanted to let you know that I have found the bug and will post it shortly after a couple more unrelated bug fixes.

I have posted a new version that fixes the free mode bug.

I am going to work on sending keys out now. So if you asked for one, you should get it shortly.
