Sorry, no I dont know any reason. The EPG data is checked by making a call to the GBPVR database and running a select query. I know it's not the most efficient as it checks eatch time the page is rendered.

But i dont know of any reason why it would be chewing cpu. Does it do it every time, or after the first time you open, or when scrolling through??

Also does the GBPVR.exe.log have anything in it??

I might try fixing up that EPG call and make it a bit more efficient.

Is there anything any one else wants??

I know Jeff wanted the ability to have multiple drives listed in the space area.

Also, Jeff, is it possible for any program to interface with the VA Plugin?? I wouldn't mind putting a warning in there in the EPG status.

Yes, there is an API to the panel. See this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...#post63211 for an example.

About to try this it may already do it, but I'd like a way to view the status of the tuners, and be able to cancel the current tuner activity. For example, "tuner 1 Live TV Living room MVP". I would have the option to cancel. Or "tuner 2 recording movie", also allowing me to cancel. I will be settingup an MVP in detached workshop soon. Would be a pain to come in at night and go to bed only to realise the only frre tuner is in use for live TV in the workshop.
WIN 7
1 X PVR 250
1 X PVR 500
1 X HD-PVR
2 X MVP
2 X PCH A100

[COLOR="Blue"]Hmmm... it seems to sit at 100% whenever the EPG summary is displayed; doesn't matter if I close and reopen, scroll down, or whatever. But only on the EPG summary. Power and storage seem to be fine.

I went looking at some of the logs, but near as I could tell, there wasn't anything relavant. Now, I only have log level set to Error, so maybe I'll try it at a more verbose level.

I just ran up mine, I have an XP 1800, and checked the CPU usage. Did seem elevated - at around the 15-25% mark.

How many EPG days do you have, my system only contains about 10.

.....ahhh, have figured it out - had a rendering command turned on on that screen.

That seems to fix it. Least ways, the CPU usage settles back down if I don't scroll down the list. It shoots up every time I move down the list; do you refresh all the stats on each scroll down?

As to the number of EPG days I have; I keep it maxed out; 15 I think.

Yeah I think so.

If you don't mind. Give it a week or so, I'm working on another plugin at the moment...then i might give this one a serious re-write, including converting it to C#.

I've done a lot more work on plugins over the last couple of weeks, and can see how this one can be considerably improved.

I'll also add a wiki page for it since I now have a signon.

Thanks for your continued support.
