Maybe you should export your recordings, remove and recreate your capture source, then do an 'Update EPG' again, then import your recordings again.

Backup your gbpvr.mdb file first though.

I have read a few threads on exporting recodings now
One it says to click a button that says export then it will create an xml file

but i don't seem to have a export button
(is it part of xsuite )

what does the gbpvr.mdb file do

is there anyway to save the recordings that i have scheduled

thanks for your help

Its in the config app, on the plugin page.

Quote:what does the gbpvr.mdb file do
It holds the information about all your recordings.

The export feature I mention above will keep all your existing recordings, but you'd need to setup your season recordings and one off recordings again.

Alternatively you can wait to the next release, which does this slightly differently, and should get around the problem your currently having, but this probably still two weeks away and I suspect your guide problems would have fixed itself by then...

I did this and installed xsuite
around 6 am
everything seemes to work

At 12 noon my epg updates
the guides in xsuite is gone until the 11/11
the guide under the normal tv listings
still shows all the programs

I can pick a program under the normal guide and
it will become red under the xguide
but there is still no info there

So all is well under the normal TV Guide?

I dont really know anything about the xsuite, so can only really help you with the built in GB-PVR stuff.

If you repeat the process I described earlier "export your recordings, remove and recreate your capture source, then do an 'Update EPG' from the config app, then import your recordings again", then post your config.exe.log file then I'll take a look.

You seriously need to do this:
In windows explorer, hit "tools"->folder options->view and uncheck "hide extensions fr known file types". How can you live with not having done that? ;-) After that you click "apply to all folders" so that it's valid for.. all folders =)
I'm not always right
