UbuRadio had some special logic Ubu had created himself to transcode the streams (using vlc I think). Unfortunately there is no equivalent logic built into the API (its pretty complex to do in a generic way).

Hi

I can't get the WebRadio plugin to play any of the allready configured radiostations, or any of the ASX-links found on this page:

http://www.dr.dk/netradio/wmp.asp

The links all play fine in WMP, Winamp and any other external plugin. What can cause this problem?

Regards, Mikkel

Maybe you have a firewall getting in the way?

I'm having troubles too - installed the plugin (had to manually copy the webradio.dll as per pcostanza), and although gbpvr says its playing a station, there is no sound. Unassociated the asf extension from winamp and back to wmp, and can confirm that the urls work in wmp, wmp classic and graphedit, but no luck with gbpvr. Disabling firewall also had no effect. Neither did trying with blue skin and ML2 disabled.

logs attached,
cheers, tieke.

WebRadio couldn't play the ASX files, but I took out the Stream URLs with URL Helper. All station works fine.
You can find the "High Quality" Danish radio stations in the RadioStations.XML and the Excel sheet in the ZIP. I didn't make any ikons. Perhaps you can find them on Lyngsat logo.

Here are the Danish radio stations on my home server

Cheers.

The WebRadio plugin does not work if CDripper or MusicLibrary2 are installed. I'm not sure if disabling is enough. You probably have to remove those plugin folders from the plugin library.
Ubu Radio and Web radio also conflicts since Uby Radio indentfies itself ad Web Radio in the config app.

Hopefully Sub will find out why Web Radio does not work with CDripper and ML2 .....some day.

Tried this plugin but am getting inconsistent results for NZ. All stations work in winamp, wmp and through graphedit, but in GBPVR some work and some don't. KiwiFM works, MoreFM doesn't, for example. Any kiwis having better luck in getting this to work consistently on all stations?

Hasso

It seems that the stream URLs has changed, so the they don't work anymore. I tested them on my home server. I can see if I can find the new streams some day.

That reply was almost as fast as sub! Seems strange though that they would work through the graphedit graph that is produced by gbpvr, but not through gbpvr.

@ Hasso
I have edited the NZ streams on the web page now. You can save the radio stations.xml file for the page to the .\media\webradio folder

Test streams from
