Hi Friends,
I can see that the EGREAT and Popcorn Hour products, even the C-200 are available in NZ with the local warranty (http://www.aiwa.co.nz). Finally!!!!!!!!!!! there is no need to get them from overseas... yeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaa!!!!! I am about to order an EGREAT M34 or maybe M31 which can take hard drive.

As I said in the other thread that had a link to aiwa I would be reluctant to buy from them as the don't have any physical contact details (address) & only a cell phone number. If that wasn't enough the prices are GST exclusive (small print at the bottom of the page) so the price of their M34a is actually more than it would cost me to get another one from the USA especially with the way the dollar is right now.

Thanks. To be very honest i wouldn't buy anything from US or anywhere outside. I'd buy locally wherever possible mainly for warranty purpose and secondly to support local business rather than supporting overseas guys. Secondly, not having GST included in the price doesn't make any difference to me. I have IT background and have come across heaps of online IT retailers not having GST included in the price. Another friend of mione ordered a HDMI extender and he said they offered him exceptional service and the delivery was super fast. I'll order mine tomorrow and let you know how did that go. You don't have to agree with me but thats my 2cents worth. Smile

You dont happen to work for aiwa.co.nz do you Big Grin

Personally I'd recommend just buy it directly.

@passionate be aware that some NZ broadcasts use HE-LATM audio which is not supported on the NMT.

As for buying EGreat directly that might not be easy since the site is in China. There are other e-tailer's who sell EGreat units like egreatusa.com but they aren't part of EGreat.

Big GrinBig Grin Definitely not. I am just a user of NMT. Regrading buying it from them, I've placed my order this morning so I should either see the unit later this evening or first thing tomorrow morning. So, far it was all smooth and good.Cheers

Hi Martin, Thanks for the info on the HE-LATM audio. Yes, buying it direct from EGREAT is no good and i don't see any reason to do that anyways when you can buy it locally and u don't have to worry about warranty too. Cheers

Mine arrived today via DHL.

I'll start the installation process this weekend. I'm sure with all the guides on here everything will go well...
Using GB-PVR since December 2005
