A number of times recently, I "have been told" by the WAF that the PCH/NMT has gone back to it's own menu at the end of playing a recording. With no remote button pushing.

It's no great problem getting back to gbpvr, but I thought I'd enquire. I've updated to the current PCH firmware, but I haven't a clue if that started it off.

Any thoughts welcome.

I'm not sure exactly why its doing that, but I've put some code in the next release to protect against it killing the session.

Thanks for that - there doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason as to when it does it or not.
I can replay the recording and it behaves.

Unfortunately I don't use GBPVR for Recordings other then testing and it is rare I let a video file play through, so I have necessary seen this particular crash. I notice you have failed recordings in your list and I don't even know how to duplicate that.

Also I think there still might be logic issues when playing through the recordings menu. After playing a file with What's New sometimes I end up in the main Recording menu, and sometimes one file or more missing. I think Sheik Yerbouti identified a problem when deleting records too which I still see from time to time.

Martin, I don't know of any failed recordings - they aren't easy to find. I just used the Web Viewer which has a tickbox for failed recordings and there are none listed.

The viewing habit here with "the others" is to start watching something, get bored, do something else and the recording just runs to the end. Most of it is drivel and doesn't deserve to be watched, but it helps keep the peace Big Grin

I saw these in your logs "failedCount:1 failed" but I don't know what that means.

Also, you might want to turn off incremental updates to see if this fixes the problem.

Phew - at least I'm not the only one then Wink

Incremental now off, I'll see how things go.

Sorry as well, I meant I'm glad I wasn't the only one who wasn't sure what the failedcount bit in the logs meant.

Similar crash to the PCH interface, but this one after pressing the stop button.
