"IF" it was up for a vote, I'd probably throw my support to "G3PVR", as I find it to be even catchier than saying "GBPVR". But I think I see sub's point, the differences are small. Any name takes a little time to sink in.

Personally, the name GBPVR truly stuck and was easy on the tongue over time.
Whether you like it or not, GBPVR has become the brand name. Changing it will add to the confusion in IT-land....

Overall I think Next-PVR isn't bad at all, with the less pleasing NPVR for short, and as we're already using it it will probably stick.

OK so drop the PVR and try something like Now-TV Or Now-Media or Media-Now or NextMedia (MediaNext)??? It is a lot more than just a DVR (PVR)

True, but around here everybody just calls it the "PVR", it's just me who uses the term GBPVR and/or MVP.
