Theses files are stored in media\shows as showname.jpg and showname.xml

Files are searched first in thetvdb and then in themovie db, do you wind sharing what the name of the show was? Also note that thetvdb is not available from time to time, so you might be able to get it again later.

Sorry JimF I missed this. I suggest using carpeVideo's tool. SearchLite will use carpeVideo's extensions to NPVR.db3 the next time I release an update.

I'll like to throw this in the wishlist column. When I search on star rating (BTW very nice feature) using say 3.5, it brings up all the movies with a rating of 3.5 or greater. When I select a item from the list, the movie details comes up and I can schedule it to be recorded. Now, it would be great to have a back button option to go back to my previous list of 3.5 star rated movies. Instead I have to enter 3.5 again and search (sorry, just a bit lazy). Anyway, not sure if that possible but thought I'd put it out there.

The show is called "Red Eye". The details on the right look correct, but then when you click on it, it shows the cover and description of some movie named "Red Eye".

Thanks its not in thetvdb. It is is tvrage through http://images.tvrage.com/shows/18/17877.png but I haven't found enough misses to make it worthwhile. Now I will start keeping count.

Any chance of getting a "Back" or "Main Menu" button on the top menu like most other windows?

No chance. The button bar is busy enough as it is, and adding two more redundant buttons doesn't make a lot of sense given the limited real estate on SD 4:3 monitors. I call them redundant because I defined the Home or Menu key on the remote to get you back which is faster then the button bar will.

I also use a Hauppauge-based remote which get me where I want bypassing the main menu. The function keys from a keyboard can come in handy, I figure most heavy duty searching is done with the keyboard, and not with the phone pad style.

I see. I haven't tried setting up my remote yet, but from what your saying it sounds like it works pretty good. I've just been having these thoughts in the back of my mind that I am going to be very disapointed when it comes time to setting up the remote. If they work that good, and it's that simple, then I guess there's no need.

Attached (removed) beta update with searching that includes TVRage.com. It did find several missing shows for me. There isn't really an API to get the description l want to see how well this works out before I put it on the wiki.
