OK, I may have figured out a tedious way to get the IP addresses figured out. Now I am back to my issues with configuring HDMI inputs. Three of my Collosi use HDMI and one uses Component. I have the Component one working now. I am not having success adding in my HDMI Collosi. When I change the input on a device do I need to redo the bulk mapping and updating the EPG, do I need to restart the NRecord service?

The channels are configured for whatever input you had selected when the channels were created. ie, if you want to change the input you'll need to delete the channels on that device and recreate them.

To summarize the steps I am taking:

1. Add first Colossus (Component input) and download the channels from Schedules Direct
2. Go to Channels to update EPG
3. Add second Colossus (HDMI input), answer no to copying from existing device, configure for HDMI and download the channels again from Schedules Direct
4. Go to Channels and update EPG
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for third and fourth tuners.

Is this correct? Is there anything I'm missing?

Yeah, it'd be something like that.

I don't know anything about using a Colossus, but from an algorithm perspective, it might be better to do what you have as steps 3,4 & 5 first. Then do what you have as steps 1 & 2. That way, you could probably say yes to copying for the second & third HDMI devices and then no for the component one. I am just guessing it would be slightly easier since you wouldn't have to worry about which one was being copied.

I just can't get the HDMI to actually record. I get no video, audio and the file size is 0. Is there a recommendation as to which driverersiono use?

Are you sure the HDMI output of the STB is not copy protected? My understanding is that these are always protected, hence the use of analog component inputs for the Colossus and HDPVR. IIRC, Hauppauge talks about using the HDMI to record from unprotected sources like game consoles and explicitly says that protected content cannot be captured via HDMI. See below:

Quote:Colossus also has an HDMI input port, so you can record HD video at up to 1080i from a un-encrypted HDMI source.
Note: most cable and satellite TV set top boxes encrypt HDMI output, so you cannot record from these sources. Unencrypted HDMI comes from the Xbox 360 plus most video cameras.
HTPC: Optiplex 7010, HDHR Prime/Avermedia Duet A188, NPVR 4.2.5, Win10 Pro

It works with HDMI in SageTV and the Showbiz software that came with it. The Directs receivers are outputting unencrypted format.
