Plex Plugin - first release

Ok....now I don't get an error.....but I don't see anything on the plugin page....via NPVR or NMT

Can you start a fresh session of npvr, navigate to plex, and then post that log. I'm not seeing a log of stuff like the initial constructor etc, and where it determines the server name.

I'll probably have a new version soon with a bunch more logging.

I had copied the plex logfile into the same directory as the nPVR logfiles just prior to compressing the files so it should be in the compressed file. But that logfile does not say anything to me.

Do you have a plex.xml file in with the plugin dll?

And if the plex.xml does exist, does adding this dll (with the plexplugin.dll) help?

The plex.xml does exist and both dll files was already in place.

hmm for a laugh, remove the default server value. I only have one server and I've made the default server as the only one if the default server value is missing (I'm grasping at straws here).

I'll fix up the play back position stuff I'm playing with currently and post the new version later today (NZ time).

I have tried both with and without the IP-address in the port field, tried both with IP address and hostname as server. No difference...

Looks promising, will try it on the NMT aswell, that should work I guess?

Any chance of getting plugins in Plex working (one I would love to get is SVTPlay, a Flash based player to watch TV-shows)?

It's unlikely I'll get all the plugins etc going. I only really wanted a rudimentary playback system and show/movie database.

Hmm good we found the bug, seems to be something when you've set the default server.

OK, here's a 0.4 release.
Hopefully fixes that default server problem - are you guying typing the name or using the drop down box in the settings panel?

I've also, but not tested a whole heap, storing and retrieving the playback position in Plex. Once it's stored you do need to refresh the directory (go up a level and back) to see it take effect - in normal operation when it's between sessions this shouldn't be necessary, but for testing it will be.

I haven't yet got a Resume/Restart panel coming, need to figure out how to get access to Subs screen, so it always resumes at the moment. Not sure what this will do at the end of a video.

Definitely take a backup of the previous version and consider these as and alpha, early beta.
