Can you supply me a new full ts capture for a couple of the frequencies? I'll try to to check them out in the morning to see if EPG is loading etc.

It would be so much easier if it was possible to manually enter a frequency in TScapture, instead of having to scan for a channel, when one of the problems is that I don't get any channels most of the time :-)
Anyway, I managed to record a new ts from 554MHz:

And I have the two files from earlier in this thread:

I think I can see what's happening.

It has improved a lot. I am trying different scans with different settings; From time to time there will be a frequency with unknown channel names, but almost all of the time I do get the correct names.
However, I still get many frequencies detected as MPEG2 and not H264.
I need to do some more testing, also EPG, so I'll get back :-)

At least it's a step in the right direction. Post an npvr.log showing and attempted scan where channels are being misidentified and I'll take a look.

Testing diffenrent settings etc, I suddenly saw a strange thing:
Channels on a frequency were detected as unknown. But when a higher frequency was scanned, the channels on the lower frequency were suddenly changed from unknown to their real names. This is logged in the enclosed logfile like "(updating previously 'unknown' channel to: 'Das Erste HD')"
In the zip-file are 3 different logfiles:
"NPVR - ChannelScan.log" is the complete scan.
"NPVR - EPGupdate.log" is an EPG update just after the channel scan.
"NPVR-MPEG2.log" is a single frequency channel scan. The 3 channels are found with correct names, but as MPEG2.

I don't think EPG is better with your latest NPVRTSmon.ax, but scanning for channels from scratch has definitely improved :-)

Looking at the earlier transport stream you posted for 586Mhz, I can see that they're incorrectly marking the channels as MPEG2 in the SDT, which is why NextPVR is reporting this in the scan. I'll have a look for a way the app can double check this with other data in the stream, rather than just trusting it.

I believe you do this for my HDHR Extend tuner.

If you set the following in your config.xml, in the <General> section, does it help?

<ScanCollectionMS>5000</ScanCollectionMS>
<ScanDropTime>2500</ScanDropTime>

You may need to Add the <ScanDropTime> if your config.xml doesn't have it.
